Savoy Directors
The current directors of Savoy have been with the company since the early days of Track, AutoTrack's predecessor. Two of the directors were instrumental in the development of AutoTrack Roads and were involved from conception. All our senior technical staff are professionally qualified in their respective fields and our lead trainer is highly qualified and has many years experience of technical training.
Martin Jefferys, Managing Director
Martin Jefferys has led Savoy since its separation from Travers Morgan in 1996. With a background in sales, Martin has a very unique style and certainly has reputation for making an impression.
Simon Ayers, Director
Simon is a Director and co-owner of Savoy Computing. He holds an honours degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Leeds, UK, and has been a Chartered Civil Engineer and member of the Institution of Civil Engineers for over 25 years. Since 1987 Simon has been involved in the design and development of engineering software and for the past 20 years has led the development of the innovative AutoTrack® suite of programs. Simon has provided advice on vehicle swept paths to the UK's Freight Transport Association (FTA) that led to them using AutoTrack® for their industry standard booklet 'Designing for Deliveries'; he also led the collaboration with the UK's Transport Research Laboratory (TRL) that culminated in the development of a ground breaking dynamic link between our respective products.
Nigel Peters, Director
Nigel is a Director of Savoy Computing and Lead Programmer. He holds a degree in Computer Science and has over 30 years experience as a software engineer. For the past 25 years he has specialized in developing CAD based civil engineering software and in particular the modeling of vehicle movements and swept path analysis in both 2D and 3D. He was lead developer in the team that wrote Savoy's market leading program, AutoTrack®. Nigel has been an active registered Autodesk and Bentley developer for 20 years and is one of a handful of independent alpha testers that Autodesk use on each of the new releases of AutoCAD® and AutoCAD® Civil 3D®.
