Crossrail buys AutoTrack Suite
Crossrail Ltd. have purchased a multiple licence of Autotrack
Crossrail Ltd, the company responsible for the new high frequency railway for London and the South East, have purchased a multiple network licence of AutoTrack.
Eventually, Crossrail will link east and west London reducing crowding on the current rail network and encouraging road users to leave their cars at home, thereby reducing road traffic. However, during construction they will need to get some very large construction vehicles into extremely tight sites in the centre of London, and that's where AutoTrack comes in. As James Barr of Crossrail says, “We needed a tool that would help us model construction vehicle movements and selecting AutoTrack really was an easy choice for us”. Martin Jefferys, MD of Savoy, said “We're delighted but not surprised that Crossrail have
chosen AutoTrack, its ability to model large and specialist vehicles is second to none.”
